[360° Swivel] ISOFIX Child Car Safety Seat

R129 is a next-generation safety standard that incorporates new regulations to improve safety beyond the previous standard, R44. Under R129, child seats should be selected based on the child's height. PUPPAPUPO's child seats comply with this R129 safety standard. Additionally, the Japan Automobile Federation (JAF) has updated its recommended height guideline for child seat use from under 140 cm to under 150 cm, and our seats meet this guideline as well.

This ISOFIX child seat is certified to meet the European safety standard UN ECE R129/04, recognized by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. It can be safely used for children from 40 cm to 150 cm in height.

From newborn up to 40–105 cm and under 18 kg, it can be used in “Baby Mode” (rear-facing). For children 15 months and older, between 76–105 cm, it can be switched to “Child Mode” (forward-facing). From 100–150 cm, it functions as “Junior Mode” for long-term use. A separately sold “Booster Seat” is also available for children 125–150 cm. *Forward-facing use is only allowed once your child is at least 15 months old and 76 cm or taller.

A 360° swivel seat that gently cradles newborns, offering a stable, safe ride from their very first trip home. Its easy rotation allows side-entry for effortless loading, then simply place your baby in the seat, pull the rotation lever, and swivel the seat into position—it’s that simple. When it’s time to get out, just rotate the seat again, and you can safely lift your baby out with ease, even from outside the car.

Installing the main unit with a seatbelt can be surprisingly tricky. But with ISOFIX, it's super easy—just plug in the connectors and set the top tether in two simple steps. There's also an alarm to prevent any installation mistakes. The stability when secured and the ease of correct installation make ISOFIX highly recommended for new moms. *The alarm is only available in child safety mode. *For junior mode, you can also install it in vehicles that don’t have ISOFIX (using only a 3-point seatbelt).

From 40–105 cm in rear-facing “Baby Mode” and 76–105 cm in forward-facing “Child Mode,” your little one is safely supported with a 5-point harness. As they grow, from 100–150 cm, it easily transitions to “Junior Mode” using the car’s seat belt.

The PUPPAPUPO child seat features four recline positions for rear-facing and four for forward-facing use. The headrest adjusts in 12 positions using the rear lever to match your child’s growth, and it moves in sync with the shoulder belts for added convenience. *Please note: The recline function cannot be used in Junior Mode.

Head support, shoulder support, and SIPS (Side Impact Protection System) help reduce forces from side collisions. SIPS is a safety feature built into the child seat that absorbs and disperses side-impact energy. Testing has shown that SIPS can reduce head acceleration by up to 15%, further minimizing the impact in side collisions.

For long drives, comfort is key. The seat features highly breathable mesh on the backrest and seat to reduce heat and moisture, while low-resilience urethane padding keeps your child comfortable even when sitting for extended periods.

Comes with a canopy to protect your baby from direct air conditioning, sunlight, and UV rays. Made from materials with proven UV protection: 95% for Greige and 100% for Black, making either choice a reliable option. The canopy can be easily removed when not in use. *Recommended for use with Baby Mode (rear-facing) only.

Equipped with a removable newborn insert cushion to enhance fit for younger infants. Made from the same mesh and urethane materials as the main seat, it provides gentle cushioning to support small bodies up to 75 cm in height.

The sleek design minimizes pressure, allowing siblings to sit side by side comfortably, and provides ample space for mom, ensuring a roomy and comfortable experience inside the vehicle.

For children 76–105 cm and 15 months or older, the seat can be used in “Child Mode” (forward-facing) with a 5-point harness. Installation is via ISOFIX and support leg.

For children 100–150 cm, the seat can be used in “Junior Mode” with the vehicle’s 3-point seat belt. Installation is possible with ISOFIX or with the vehicle’s 3-point seat belt only for non-ISOFIX cars.*In Junior Mode, the 5-point harness is stored while in use.
