If you want to use it all year round, we recommend the reversible pile type, which can be enjoyed in every season. If you’re looking for a summer-only cooling pad and need waterproof protection, the waterproof type is the perfect choice.

Made with a contact-cooling fabric that feels gently cool to the touch—just the right level of coolness for babies. It provides a comfortable feel for sweat-prone little ones and helps support pleasant sleep during hot summer nights. Babies sweat two to three times more than adults, and this fabric helps keep them comfortable as they fall asleep. *For baby use, the cooling fabric offers a mild cooling sensation that may feel only slightly cool to adults.

PUPPAPUPO’s contact-cooling fabric has a q-max value of approx. 0.366 W/cm² (≈ 2.36 W/in²), providing a pleasant, moderate cool feeling the moment it touches the skin. It is designed to feel comfortably cool without over-cooling, helping babies stay cozy and relaxed. This is baby-first quality, created with your little one’s comfort in mind.
*Generally, fabrics with a q-max value of 0.2 W/cm² (≈ 1.29 W/in²) or higher are considered to have contact-cooling performance.

We use a soft and gentle cotton pile fabric with a fluffy feel against the skin. The pile material is stretchy, highly absorbent, and breathable, making it an ideal choice for sweat-prone babies. The pile fabric has passed absorbency testing, and with babies’ tendency to sweat while sleeping in mind, we carefully selected a 100% cotton material for comfort use. *The pile fabric consists of 100% cotton for the pile part and 100% polyester for the base fabric.

A waterproof sheet is essential for protecting futons that cannot be washed frequently. This versatile item features a cooling surface for a refreshingly comfortable feel and a polyurethane laminate backing that provides reliable waterproof protection—a smart 2-in-1 design that does it all in one sheet.

The reverse side features a polyurethane laminate coating that effectively blocks moisture. With a water resistance rating of 4,000 mm (approx. 157 inches), it offers more than sufficient performance for everyday bedding use. This level of waterproofing helps strongly prevent liquids from seeping into futons or mattresses, keeping them clean and protected.

We have two size options available: Regular size 27.6″ × 47.2″ (70×120cm) ans Mini size 23.6″ × 35.4” (60 × 90cm). It's versatile and can be used partially without using the backside rubber. *Please check the size of your mattress before making a purchase.

Depending on the color (pattern) and backing type, the appearance of the cooling surface may vary. The waterproof type appears brighter, while the pile type may appear slightly darker.
